Philosophy: Expressing the richness of a unique terroir in an elegant and complex wine.
Origin: Grapes from a single plot, over 100 years old, on schist soils and at an altitude of 450m.
Grape Varieties: Old vineyards in Field Blend, with over 60 grape varieties.
Vinification: Manual harvest in boxes of 20 kg. Reception with total destemming. Fermentation conducted with indigenous yeasts in granite open fermenters with foot treading at controlled temperature, in order to obtain a slow fermentation with high extraction.
Stage: 500 liter French oak barrels for 12 months.
Bottling Date: February 2019.
Tasting Note: Opaque garnet color with violet hues. Aroma of wild fruit and black plum wrapped in vanilla notes. In the mouth very complex and balanced with a well integrated barrel showing some notes of smoke, remarkable structure with silky tannins, fresh and long finish.
