Philosophy: Expressing the potential of the grape variety through artisanal techniques and minimal intervention.
Origin: Grapes from old vines in the Douro Superior, planted on schist soils.
Grape Varieties: Rabigato.
Vinification: Manual harvest in boxes of 20Kg. Reception with total destemming, crushing, followed by cold maceration for 2 days at a temperature of 10ºC. Fermentation by indigenous yeasts in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature.
Stage: 500 liter French oak barrels for 12 months + 24 months in bottle.
Bottling Date: December 2022.
Tasting Note: Straw-yellow color and crystalline appearance, revealing on the nose the citrus and mine-ral notes, unmistakable characteristics of the Rabigato grape variety. On the palate, it impresses with its vibrant acidity and creamy texture, culminating in a complex and persistent finish that highlights a remarkable aging potential.
