Philosophy: Expressing the purity of the grapes through irreverent winemaking techniques.
Origin: Grapes from old vines, aged over 60 years old, from Baixo Corgo in the Douro.
Grape Varieties: Field Blend, dominated by Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz.
Vinification: Manual harvest in 20Kg boxes. Reception with partial destemming and crushing, completing with whole bunches, followed by a cold maceration for 2 days. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature in order to obtain an elegant, smooth wine without too much extraction.
Aging: Stainless steel and bottle.
Bottling Date: March 2023.
Tasting Note: Open ruby color. Stunning aroma, notorious nuances of red plum and wild fruits where the freshness of the fruit seduces. On the palate, the balance prevails combining the fruit flavor with a crunchy acidity. Long and pleasant finish.
